BHA recognizes violence against women as the broad and interconnected issue that it is eating us up alive.
We mobilize young women around from different regions in the Gambia for social change through community development and social action. We are creating a network of women and girls who recognize their intrinsic power as change makers who inspires and motivate each other towards, individual, community and global transformation.
Our Vision
Our vision is that all women will be treated with dignity and respect, be allow to make choice for their own development.
We advocates for equal opportunities in all areas, including education, economic empowerment, reproductive health rights, women participation in politics, and letting our voice to be heard on matters affect that effect women and girls, we recognize that discrimination against women and girls and inequality of share of power is a feminist issue and to achieve that equality, our activism must be intensified.
